Moto-G loss of signal (SIM card recognised but no signal) for many days

Tried shuttinga and re-starting. Did not work for many days, but all of a sudden, it started working.

Before doing this, I did try to go to airplane mode, switch on and then off (no result), maybe that helped.

This is annoying.
