VIDEO LENGTH LIMIT
Nikon D3300 can shoot 30 minutes (OK, 29m59s) continuously of 1080p, 30fps in “Normal Quality” mode. That reduces to 20 minutes in “High Quality” mode.
Start a timer with the recording and at 18 minutes stop the video and resume.
PANAROMIC IMAGE: Can’t get the whole scene into your frame? Turn on Easy Panorama Mode and pan across the scene—the D3300 will capture the entire view as a high-resolution panoramic image.

HOW TO SHOOT A VIDEO
HOW TO FOCUS
Before shoot a video of yourself, set up something, such as a paper bag face mounted on a stand that’s going to be kept where you will then go and sit.
Now move back to the camera. Set the camera into Manual mode. Press Live View mode.
Zoom to the max possible. Focus on the paper bag face by half pressing the button.
Now zoom back.
Now don’t adjust the camera or move it or move yourself.
