How to view XML files properly (as a table)

I’ve backed up my SMS messages into google drive using SMS Backup application (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zegoggles.smssync&hl=en).

Problem is: it produces XML files – which are essentially a bunch of junk when viewed on Notepad.

HOW TO VIEW XML PROPERLY? – AS A TABLE

1. Open Excel
2. Go to Data ribbon
3. Click “external Data” > From Other Sources
4. Select “From XML data import”
5. Now pick up the XML file
