BEST SOLUTION FOR MOST SUCH THINGS

Mineral turpentine (definitely for crocker and cutlery). I find this to be the best.

I’m informed that this may not be┬ábest suited to other things.

OTHER OPTIONS

Eucalyptus Oil

rubbing alcohol

Oil-based substances, such as peanut butter (smooth, not chunky), mayonnaise or cooking oil

Nail polish remover

De-Solv-it

Bestine (found at artist supply stores and good for paper)

UN-UD Adhesive Remover (on glass, paper, metal and wood)

WD-40 (on glass and metal).
