Windows XP reinstall

Windows XP repair is literally impossible. When the computer creaks and slows down, the only realistic option is to reinstall.

KEY LESSONS LEARNT FOR THE FUTURE

a) Windows 7 is SLOWER than Windows XP, so use XP for as long as is humanly possible.

b) Once you've re-installed XP from scratch, DO NOT INSTALL SERVICE PACK 2

c) Only install service pack 3.

d) Make sure you install the motherboard drivers (gigabyte) asap

e) Install the Viewsonic va2038wm led drivers asap and use the 60hz setting on ordinary resolution text. I forget the setting I used last time but this time is not as clear as it was before (1600×900 is of course necessary).
